Hi Luke!

Nope, not done it precisely because of the DRM. I hate Windows Media Player. Also, I don't watch movies on my computer, it's not in the family room. I've heard good things about it and my daughter would love to try it out because she's at college. Alas, she's a Mac user and therefore NetFlix feels that she is either only interested in pirating the content or just not a movie watcher. ;) Either way, she's frustrated and is probably going to cancel her NetFlix account.

Later!

Have you played with Netflix's watch instantly?

Their TV episode range is quite good. Movies are more dated and limited.

You need to use IE and Windows Media Player, and I think it is streaming only, but unlimited access for $9 per month is pretty good.

I don't think I will miss physical media, but I wish people would stop with the bone-headed DRM ideas. Region coding, unskippable previews and antipiracy messages only annoy legitimate consumers. They don't affect pirates or their customers in any way. Digital downloads let the media companies embark on another generation of implementing the same sorts of boneheaded ideas only with more room for specific annoying variations.
