PHPWomen T-Shirts

Dear Reader,

Ever wonder where you could get one of those cool PHPWomen T-Shirts? Well now you don’t have to travel to a conference just to get one. Now you can order your very own from their new PHPWomen T-Shirt Shop. They have a variety of styles and colors including one just for guys to show their support for the organization.

It’s no secret to anyone who knows me that I support this group and have since they started. I think they do a great job and are part of what makes the PHP community special. If you know a female PHP programmer, buy her a shirt! Also let her know that if she’s not yet involved in PHPWomen, she needs to be.

Oh, BTW, no, you can’t get one of these shirts there. There are just some things money can’t buy, even with a MasterCard. :)

For those who do not know the story behind that shot. I am privileged to be one of the select few PHPW Booth Babes. I think I may have been the first but I’m not sure if anyone really knows for sure. This picture as with the first one, was taken at php|tek 2007, the first conference where they officially had a presence.

As I do every time I see any of them, I want to publicly thank Liz Smith, Liz Naramore, Sara Golemon, Lorna Mitchell, Kathy Reid and the queen of #phpc herself, Ligaya Turmelle. Thanks for everything you do for PHPWomen and thanks for everything you do to make the PHP Community a better place. Y’all rock!
(Phergie: beer #phpw)

Until next time,
I <3 |<
